How to Attract What You Want

Ever had a goal that feel like no matter how much you pray, or meditate, or manifest, it seems beyond your reach? Here’s a game plan to creating the life you want.

  • Be specific.

“And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.” - 1 John 5:15

“And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words.” -  Matthew 6:7

This is one of the biggest mistakes people make when praying for something. Your requests to God should be concise and specific. You will always get what you ask God for. So if you say want a man, you’ll get one – he may be in a relationship with someone else, he may be broke and dusty, he may be unattractive, but “a man” will come into your life, the way you prayed for it. Get REALLY clear on what you’re asking for, and why those qualities are so important to you.

  • Believe it.

“Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.” Hebrews 11:1

“And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.” Hebrews 11:6

There is absolutely no point in constantly praying and asking for something you don’t think will happen. There is no point in pursuing something you don’t think will happen. If you don’t believe that God can bring you your purpose partner, then stop wasting His time, the time of any men you’ve dated or plan to date, and the time of the people you talk to and complain to about your singleness.

  • Be grateful for it now.

“Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.” Mark 11:24

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:6-7

This goes along with believing. If you believe it’s already yours, then go ahead and be grateful and give thanks. God inhabits the praises of His people. Go ahead and praise, and watch the doors open.

  • Be the woman who has it already.

“For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.” 2 Timothy 1:7

“For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he…” Proverbs 23:7

Embodiment is major key. You attract things according to your vibe. You can’t attract a high-value man living in the body of woman with low self-esteem, bitterness, and pettiness. If you truly believe you deserve your purpose partner, then why would you even entertain a man who’s not up to your standards? Why would you accept dates with men you aren’t interested in? Why would you stay in a relationship that’s not fulfilling? If you know you’re loved and cherished, why are you walking around with head hanging down?

Getting what you want – in love and in all the other areas of your life – requires a higher level of you. It requires a woman who is prayed up, who is faithful, and who has done the work. You must be willing to do the work and to invest in yourself to get rid of your limiting beliefs, to heal from your past relationships, and to put yourself out there and be available to new blessings.
